Duties
- Assemble various components of powersports units using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and schematics to ensure accurate mechanical assembly.
- Read blueprints and technical schematics to interpret assembly instructions and specifications accurately.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during assembly and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Conduct quality control inspections to detect defects or deviations from safety standards and manufacturing specifications.
- Handle heavy lifting safely using appropriate manual handling techniques or forklift equipment when required.
- Follow all safety standards in production environments, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with mechanical assembly in a manufacturing setting.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in power tools, hand tools, pneumatic tools, and schematics interpretation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; prior forklift or mechanized equipment certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail for quality control defect detection and adherence to safety standards in production environments.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to powersports vehicles including engines, chassis, electrical components, and pneumatic systems.
- Mechanic experience or background in manufacturing is highly desirable for success in this role.
