Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across various projects, including residential and commercial properties. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Execute residential and commercial painting projects with precision and care.
- Perform plastering and caulking to ensure smooth finishes and prevent leaks.
- Collaborate with team members on renovation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Read blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements and specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including fixture installation and trim carpentry.
- Conduct maintenance tasks related to painting projects such as touch-ups and restoration work.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices including masonry, concrete finishing, and drywall installation.
- Familiarity with color theory and its application in design choices.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents accurately.
- Experience with airless paint spraying techniques is preferred.
- Basic math skills for estimating material needs accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Previous experience in renovation or remodeling projects is advantageous.
