Part-Time DOT Medical Examiner (Nurse Practitioner) – Flexible Schedule

TransLab is seeking a motivated and professional Nurse Practitioner (NP) to perform DOT Physical Examinations for commercial motor vehicle drivers on a part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare professional looking for a flexible schedule while making a direct impact on driver health, safety, and compliance within the transportation industry.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform DOT physical examinations in accordance with FMCSA regulations
- Complete and issue Medical Examiner's Certificates when appropriate
- Accurately document examination findings and maintain medical records
- Educate drivers regarding medical certification requirements
- Maintain compliance with all FMCSA and National Registry requirements
- Provide a professional and positive experience for drivers and clients
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Current certification and good standing
- Registered and listed on the FMCSA National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) – Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience performing DOT physicals preferred, but not required
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
