Nurse Practitioner CDL Medical Examiner Needed - Elgin, IL

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner to join our team and perform CDL medical examinations. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified nurse to use their skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough DOT physical examinations for CDL drivers, including vision, hearing, blood pressure, and other vital signs
- Review medical history and assess driver fitness for safe operation of commercial vehicles
- Document all findings and issue DOT medical certificates
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
- Stay up-to-date with DOT regulations and guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service to all drivers
Qualifications:
- Current ARPN or Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Illinois
- Minimum of 1 year of experience performing DOT physicals
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and organized
