Now Hiring: Dog Bather – Part Time
All About Dog Grooming is excited to announce that we're expanding! We are actively looking to immediately hire a part-time dog bather to join our team. Approximately 25 hours/week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday to start with the potential to work additional days.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with animals and wants to gain experience in the dog grooming industry. Previous professional experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
Job Title: Dog Bather
Duties:
- Bathe and dry dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Safely handle and restrain dogs during bathing and drying
- Identify and report skin, coat, or other concerns to groomers
- Assist groomers with dogs when needed
- Clean and disinfect tubs, kennels, equipment, and work areas
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
- Treat every dog with patience, care, and compassion
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with dogs is preferred but not required
- Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Patient and confident when working with animals
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn proper bathing, drying, brushing, and handling techniques
- Physical ability to lift dogs and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
