Position Overview
We are seeking a Lead Technician to oversee and perform air duct and dryer vent cleaning services. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills, as you will be responsible for managing job sites, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring high-quality service on every job.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform residential and commercial air duct and dryer vent cleaning services
- Operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment
- Supervise and train junior technicians on proper procedures and safety standards
- Communicate clearly with customers, explaining services and recommendations
- Inspect systems and identify potential issues or hazards
- Ensure all work meets company standards and industry best practices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and equipment
- Complete job documentation and reports accurately
Qualifications
- Prior experience in air duct cleaning, HVAC, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces, attics, and ladders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- HVAC certification or relevant technical training
- Experience with rotary brush systems, and inspection tools
- Knowledge of indoor air quality standards and safety protocols
