Reporting to ALKU’s Controller and managing one direct report, the Financial Systems Manager will play a critical role in driving process improvement, system integration, and data reliability across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with a solid understanding of financial processes and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support key financial systems, including ERP, Adaptive Insights, Tableau, and related reporting and automation platforms
- Oversee system integrations, upgrades, user access, and change management to ensure data integrity and minimal disruption to operations
- Build and maintain workflow automations using platforms such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Workato, Zapier, or similar tools
- Continuously evaluate existing financial and operational processes to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improved efficiency
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design system enhancements, and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Manage financial systems projects from planning to implementation, including testing, deployment, and documentation
- Support the preparation of financial reports by ensuring accurate data flow across systems and providing system-based insights
- Collaborate with Finance and IT to enhance reporting dashboards and business intelligence capabilities
- Maintain proper system controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, system architecture, and user training materials
- Supervise and develop one direct report, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities
- Provide help desk support for financial systems and act as a subject matter expert for end users
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in financial systems, accounting technology, or finance process automation roles
- Experience with ERP implementation or administration (Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar) strongly preferred
- Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
