Job Overview: Event & Venue Safety Officer

We are seeking a proactive, customer-service-driven Safety Officer to provide a visible, reassuring presence for a high-traffic venue. In this role, you will serve as an ambassador of safety and hospitality—fostering a welcoming environment for guests and staff while respectfully maintaining venue standards, access control, and overall security across the facility.

This is an active, highly mobile role designed for individuals who thrive on movement, guest interaction, and proactive observation throughout their shift.

Core Responsibilities1. Facility Presence & Active Patrols

• Maintain an active, reassuring presence across all levels, main corridors, common areas, and guest spaces.
• Conduct regular, attentive checks of stairwells, service areas, and side corridors to ensure clean, clear, and safe pathways.
• Perform routine exterior sweeps of parking zones, walkways, and outer grounds (every 20–30 minutes) to maintain a secure, orderly perimeter.
• Ensure designated access points, entryways, and exits remain secure and clear of unauthorized activity.

2. Guest Services & De-Escalation

• Greet visitors, staff, and guests with a polite, professional, and approachable demeanor.
• Handle sensitive situations with empathy and high-level de-escalation skills, respectfully addressing policy violations and guiding unauthorized individuals off the property.
• Serve as a professional liaison for emergency response teams (Police, Fire, EMS), offering swift assistance and escorting them through the facility as required.

3. Observation & Digital Reporting

• Submit real-time, digital activity updates every 30 minutes via our mobile platform.
• Capture clear, timestamped photos during routine patrols to document maintenance needs, property damage, or physical hazards.
