Architectural Project Manager

ALINE Architecture Concepts is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead multiple small to mid-size projects across commercial, hospitality, and residential work. This role holds full responsibility for managing all phases of assigned projects, from scope definition and fee development through execution and closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard of design and client satisfaction.
The Project Manager serves as the primary client liaison and is responsible for coordinating technical, administrative, and team efforts to ensure efficient, thoughtful, and successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Manage multiple small to medium projects simultaneously, with full accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Coordinate all aspects of assigned projects, including technical documentation, consultant collaboration, internal team workflows, and client communications
- Prepare strategic project plans that support successful execution from concept through completion
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of all assigned work
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary client liaison, guiding projects to completion in alignment with client expectations
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and ongoing communication
- Maintain strong client relationships by proactively managing expectations, schedules, and deliverables
- Ensure projects meet both design intent and client satisfaction
Scope, Fees & Contracts
- Estimate project fees, define scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts
- Actively manage project budgets, including fee tracking, forecasting, and change management
- Identify potential scope changes and coordinate approvals and contract modifications as needed
Scheduling, Coordination & Team Leadership
- Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and internal deadlines
- Coordinate project team assignments and consultant efforts
- Oversee project communications, documentation, and workflow systems
- Manage project documentation, reporting, and administrative processes
- Support office operations and contribute to workflow improvements when applicable
- Maintain organized records, project files, and contract documentation

- Experience managing multiple small to mid-size architecture or design projects
- Strong ability to estimate scope, fees, and timelines
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Comfortable acting as a client-facing lead and decision-maker
- Thoughtful, collaborative, and detail-oriented approach to project delivery
- Passion for craft, collaboration, and meaningful design
