Electrical Systems Technician
Position Description: Excel in installing, preserving, and revitalizing a spectrum of CNC manufacturing systems.
Daily Duties Include: In-house installation and fine-tuning of CNC and standard machinery. Tackling malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems with expert-level solutions. Engaging closely with other experts to deliver seamless repairs. Maintaining precision by following the National Electric Code in electrical setups. Crafting detailed preliminary electrical plans. Efficient parts management and labor estimation. Taking a proactive role in varied facility maintenance tasks from new setups to routine cleanups.Qualifications Sought:
- Connecticut E2 license is preferable; academic or military backgrounds are respected.
- Minimally five years of related equipment maintenance experience.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery is crucial.
- Exceptional troubleshooting acumen and ability to navigate schematics and engineering prints effortlessly.
- Skilled in hoisting equipment and articulate in English.
- Competence in PLCs and modern control technologies is an asset.
Physical Capabilities Required:
- Competence in lifting weight up to 35 pounds.
- Adeptness in maintaining extended standing or variable positions for job completion.
Technical Proficiency: Includes detailed knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, electrical repairs, and CNC machinery operations.
Technologies: Expect to work primarily with CNC Mills (3-4 axis VMC) and CNC Lathes (2-4 axis).
