This temp-to-hire position champions the experience of our B2B customers—owning order accuracy, quote coordination, and cross-functional communication so every shipment lands on time and as promised.
A day in this role
- Start of day: Review incoming purchase orders for accuracy, confirm pricing/terms, and initiate precise ERP order entry.
- Mid-morning: Field questions from assigned accounts and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to clarify specifications and timelines.
- Late morning: Build and deliver quotes and proposals; keep the CRM spotless with up-to-date activities, notes, and opportunity data.
- Afternoon: Monitor scorecards and customer portals, escalate expediting needs, and adjust production priorities to protect on-time delivery.
- End of day: Analyze account activity and performance trends, update sales forecasts, and prepare insights for the SVP of Sales, Marketing, and the Customer Experience Manager.
- Promote Alinabal’s capabilities to new and existing assigned accounts while nurturing strong relationships with category buyers.
- Serve as the primary liaison among customers, Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing on your account list.
- Generate quotations, coordinate order entry, and clearly communicate requirements to internal teams.
- Proactively expedite orders to meet customer deadlines and maintain positive scorecard performance.
- Manage customer service and account maintenance, including scorecard and portal oversight.
- Coordinate customer quote activity across the organization and maintain the CRM database.
- Prepare and present quotations/proposals independently or with field sales.
- Track activity, evaluate account health, and produce sales forecasts.
- Work with the SVP of Sales, Marketing, and the Customer Experience Manager to analyze data for efficient prospecting and sales execution.
- Maintain accurate customer data across ERP and CRM systems, meeting all data governance requirements.
- Occasional travel to customer sites may be required ( /-10%), with minimal inter-facility travel as needed.
- Innate curiosity; competitive, collaborative, and coachable mindset.
- Understanding of technical/mechanical product concepts and engineered solutions (manufacturing background preferred).
- Comfort with pricing strategy and negotiation.
- Proficiency with MS Office, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Teams; ERP experience.
- Clear, confident communicator in writing, virtually, and in person.
- Strong organization to juggle multiple priorities and pivot quickly.
- Creative problem solver who can think on your feet.
Work setting and schedule
- Employment type: Temporary to Permanent
- Work environment: Manufacturing floor exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday; overtime as needed.
- Travel: Minimal inter-facility travel; occasional customer travel ( /-10%).
