Duties
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels and other items with precision and care
- Sort laundry items based and follow cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Stock shelves and perform other duties asked to help with the cleaning business
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly cleaning machines, workstations, and storage spaces
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals and equipment used in laundry operations
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies of detergents, cleaning agents, and linen stock levels
- Collaborate with housekeeping or service teams to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and fabrics
Qualifications
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding is helpful
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness standards
- Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads when necessary
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Remain free of personal odors that can be transferred to linens
