We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist construction workers in various tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced tradespeople to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and hazardous materials.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Help with the setup of scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required; we welcome entry-level candidates eager to learn.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Ability to follow directions accurately and work as part of a team.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
