- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Develop, solve, and review advanced material science problems with real-world scientific relevance
- Apply your expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or related disciplines to design complex, nuanced problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated scientific content for accuracy, depth, and rigor
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to enhance AI model reasoning
- Ensure scientific clarity and precision across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
- Master's or PhD in Material Science or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or comparable research areas
- Proficient in Python or MATLAB through research or applied project work
- Exceptionally detail-oriented — you hold your work to a high scientific standard
- A clear, precise communicator in written English
- Based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
- Background in research involving computational materials science or nanomaterials
- Experience reviewing or publishing technical scientific content
- Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning concepts as a practitioner or curious observer
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading AI research labs
- Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
