Intellectual Property Associate Attorney | $235k–$420k| Century City, CA or New York, NY (Hybrid)

An AmLaw 50 firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Intellectual Property team in Century City or New York. This group has played a central role in shaping the legal landscape of the online world, from early Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) cases to today’s most pressing issues around privacy, platform liability, AI, and free speech.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent technology companies, media platforms, and content creators in high-stakes litigation and investigations involving privacy, data security, copyright, and emerging technologies.

• Advise clients on AI, content moderation, and First Amendment matters.

• Conduct legal research, draft motions and briefs, and contribute to all stages of litigation.

• Partner with cross-office teams on complex disputes and regulatory challenges involving cutting-edge issues in Internet law.

• Engage directly with clients ranging from industry leaders to early-stage startups across the U.S. and abroad.

Qualifications:

• 2–7 years of experience in Internet, media, or technology-related litigation or investigations.

• Demonstrated interest in privacy, data security, copyright, AI, or First Amendment issues.

• Strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills.

• Admission to practice in California or New York (depending on office location).
