A premier global law firm is seeking a Corporate – Global Finance Associate Attorney to join its New York office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing private equity sponsors, financial institutions, direct lenders, multinational corporations, and institutional investors in sophisticated domestic and cross-border financing transactions.

Ideal Background

• 3–6 years of finance, banking & finance, leveraged finance, or corporate finance experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing banks, private equity sponsors, direct lenders, institutional investors, corporate borrowers, and multinational companies

• Experience handling acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, syndicated lending, cross-border financings, refinancing transactions, recapitalizations, and other complex financing matters

• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, commitment letters, security agreements, guarantees, collateral documents, intercreditor agreements, and related financing documentation

• Experience coordinating due diligence, transaction management, and multi-party domestic and international deal execution

• Familiarity with private credit, fund finance, structured finance, project finance, asset-based lending, or capital markets transactions is a plus

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated financing transactions while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

• New York bar admission required or ability to become admitted
