Staff Accountant

We are excited to announce that with our growth, we are adding to our finance team!

We are looking for an accountant with at least 2 years of experience in enterprise level organization. As a staff accountant, we have a place for you if you are someone who is eager to grow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements, general ledgers, and other financial records
• Assist with tax preparation and filing
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance a plus!
• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, SAGE Intact, Oracle)
• Experience with double-entry bookkeeping principles and practices
• Minimum 2 years in a Staff Accounting role with high volume
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in Dental Practice Accounting is a plus
• Knowledge of private equity accounting is a plus
