- Enters invoices into ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
- Schedules, Processes, and records payments to suppliers.
- Works closely with internal staff to resolve issues while observing confidentiality.
- Responsible for weekly management & reconciliation of company credit cards.
- Processes customer invoices & cash receipts.
- Performs weekly inventory reconciliations & assists with year-end physical counts.
- Assists with month-end closings & account reconciliations.
- Assists with bank reconciliations.
- Assists with external audit requests.
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Experience in a manufacturing or job-costing environment strongly preferred
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, & financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis)
- Microsoft Office software and Windows operating system
- Familiarity with fixed assets, depreciation, cost accounting concepts, & EBIDTA
- Ability to work with large data sets & perform detailed reconciliations
- Understanding of internal controls & audit processes
- Familiarity with federal contractor requirements preferred
- Ability to thrive in a changing, fast-paced growing and dynamic business
- Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
