Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Part-Time Opportunity
Job Summary:
Alight Behavioral Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our part-time team in Ellerbe, North Carolina. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children on the autism spectrum. Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder in their natural environments, implementing individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and treatment effectiveness
Collaborate with BCBAs to modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
Maintain accurate and detailed records of client sessions and progress
Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other team members to ensure seamless transitions and comprehensive care
Adhere to Alight Behavioral Therapy's policies, procedures, and standards of practice
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, special education)
Completion of the required RBT training program and registration with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB)
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for working with children and families affected by autism
