Project Manager – Ground Up Construction

A well-established General Contractor based in Stamford, CT is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground up commercial construction projects across the Tri-State area.
This is an opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of work and long-standing relationships across retail, mixed-use, commercial, and institutional sectors.
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering projects from preconstruction through closeout and be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage ground up construction projects from award through completion
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships
- Lead coordination with field teams, architects, engineers, and ownership groups
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Support preconstruction and buyout activities where required
Requirements:
- 5 years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor
- Proven experience delivering ground up construction projects
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and sequencing
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Compensation:
- Base salary up to $190,000
