POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product Development Assistant supports and collaborates with Design, Production, Technical Design, and Merchandising to develop the ready-to-wear assortment while ensuring the design vision is met.

The Product Development Assistant supports and collaborates with Design, Production, Technical Design, and Merchandising to develop the ready-to-wear assortment while ensuring the design vision is met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Product Development team with daily operations.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Technical Design, and Merchandising.
- Follow up extensively with factories on garment sample due dates (X-dates).
- Maintain sample/mock tracking charts.
- Receive, sort, steam, and log incoming samples.
- Request mock-ups from vendors for embroideries, denim treatments, and specialty techniques.
- Pull and consolidate color standards at end of each season
- Manage duplicate samples for Technical Design for fittings.
- Manage sample closet organization and clean-outs.
- 1–2 years of Product Development experience.
- Experience with PLM systems is an asset but not required.
- Understanding of the product cycle from concept through production.
- Knowledge of textiles, garment construction, hand sewing and patterns.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Photoshop.
- Familiarity with contemporary fashion aesthetics.

Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
