POSITION SUMMARY:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive alice olivia’s partnership and licensing strategy, collaborating cross-functionally to develop and execute high-impact initiatives connecting fashion with culture and lifestyle. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for identifying strategic opportunities, negotiating and structuring agreements, and overseeing project execution to support the brand’s marketing and business objectives and drive revenue growth. This role is ideal for a strategic, collaborative, and results-driven leader with a passion for fashion and culture.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partnerships and Licensing Strategy and Execution
  • With brand leadership, develop and implement strategic partnership, licensing, and collaboration initiatives that align with alice olivia’s brand vision and business objectives.
  • Partnering with brand and marketing leaders, oversee end-to-end execution of partnership, licensing, and collaboration initiatives including contract negotiations, relationship management, and project deliverables.
  • Act as the primary project manager for all partnership and licensing initiatives, tracking milestones, managing communication, and ensuring seamless execution across teams.
  • Provide ongoing project updates to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership, ensuring visibility and alignment.
  • Identify potential risks and collaborate with leadership to develop strategic solutions.
  • Work closely with creative and brand marketing teams to develop assets for partnership, licensing, and collaboration projects, coordinating necessary internal and external approvals.
  • Structure and lead bi-weekly partnership meetings, ensuring alignment and progress on all key initiatives.
  • Product Development & Critical Path Management
  • Own and manage the time action calendar, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met across internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate with design and merchandising to align merchandise plans, royalty forecasts, and new product opportunities to maximize revenue and brand impact.
  • Business Affairs Management
  • Manage all contract negotiations and execution for partnerships, sponsorships, collaborations, and special projects, ensuring compliance, brand integrity, and cross departmental support.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to track and facilitate royalty reports and payments, ensuring compliance with agreements.
  • Work closely with legal teams to draft and review licensing agreements. Ensure all licensing activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Special Brand Initiative Management
  • Support brand and expansion efforts, managing cross-functional projects as assigned.
  • Support the exploration and execution of new business opportunities as assigned.
  • Legal
  • Work closely with legal teams to draft and review licensing agreements. Ensure all licensing activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract terms, renewal dates, and performance obligations to ensure timely execution and compliance.
  • Conduct legal and reputational checks on potential collaborators to ensure alignment with brand values and legal obligations.
  • Safeguard brand assets and ensure proper usage of trademarks, logos, and copyrighted materials across partner campaigns.
  • Assist in resolving partnership disputes or breaches by coordinating with legal teams and documenting relevant communications and deliverables.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of experience managing partnerships, licensing, or business development projects within a fashion, luxury, or agency environment.
  • Proficient with legal documents and negations.
  • Ability to translate legal language into actionable business terms for internal stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Proven negotiation skills with experience in contract structuring, deal terms, and legal compliance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

$100,000 - $125,000 base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NYC - based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other AO employees.)
