Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Attorney located in McKinney, TX. The Associate Attorney will:
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, legal research, and drafting documents
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Attend hearings, mediations, and client meetings
- Review and organize case files and evidence
- Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence
- Collaborate with a team that values mentorship, teamwork, and professional development
- Learn the practical side of law while building confidence in your courtroom and client-facing skills
What We're Looking For
- Experience in conducting in-depth Legal Research and analyzing complex legal issues
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a focus on clear and direct client communication
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active license to practice law in Texas
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-moving environment
- Someone who brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a team-first mindset
