Vehicle Operator- Data Collection

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Vehicle Operators to support autonomous vehicle data collection efforts. In this role, you will operate test vehicles along designated routes while helping gather real-world driving data that contributes to the advancement of autonomous driving technology.

Responsibilities

• Drive test vehicles for 4–8 hours per day while adhering to strict safety protocols
• Follow predefined driving routes and data collection procedures
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic operational checks
• Operate software and equipment used for data collection
• Document observations, issues, and unusual events during testing
• Communicate findings and feedback to engineering and operations teams
• Assist with vehicle maintenance coordination, storage, and logistics as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of licensed driving experience in the United States
• At least 1 year of professional driving experience, including rideshare, delivery, shuttle, bus, commercial, fleet, or similar driving roles
• Comfortable driving for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screening

Schedule Options

Morning Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

• Wednesday – Sunday
• Thursday – Monday
• Saturday – Wednesday

Afternoon Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

• Tuesday – Saturday
• Wednesday – Sunday
• Thursday – Monday
• Friday – Tuesday
• Saturday – Wednesday
• Sunday – Thursday

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay: $28.00 per hour
• Scheduled pay increase of $0.50 per hour every 6 months based on tenure
