Vehicle Operator – Data Collection
Sunnyvale / San Francisco, CA
$28 per hour | Full-Time
Are you an experienced professional driver? We’re hiring Vehicle Operators to safely drive test vehicles and support the collection of real-world driving data.
What You’ll Do
- Drive company test vehicles on assigned routes throughout the Bay Area.
- Collect real-world driving data.
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after each shift.
- Document observations and report issues.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures.

$28.00 per hour
Location
- Temporary: Sunnyvale, CA
- Long-Term: San Francisco, CA (site expected to reopen later this year)
Available Shifts
Morning (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
- Wednesday–Sunday
- Thursday–Monday
- Saturday–Wednesday
Afternoon (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
- Tuesday–Saturday
- Wednesday–Sunday
- Thursday–Monday
- Friday–Tuesday
- Saturday–Wednesday
- Sunday–Thursday
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (3 years preferred).
- Professional driving experience must be clearly listed on your resume.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license held for at least 3 years.
- Clean driving record with no moving violations within the past 12 months.
- No DUI or criminal record.
- Ability to work onsite in Sunnyvale and later San Francisco.
- Must successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review, background check, and drug screening.

Previous autonomous vehicle experience is a plus but not required.
