Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Clinical Research Phlebotomist to support ongoing clinical research studies. This role is responsible for collecting blood samples from research participants while strictly following study protocols, safety guidelines, and documentation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and blood collection for clinical research studies
- Follow study protocols, including specific timing, labeling, and handling requirements
- Process, prepare, and store biological samples according to protocol
- Accurately document collections and maintain study records
- Ensure participant comfort, safety, and confidentiality
- Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), HIPAA, and infection control standards
- Collaborate with clinical research staff, coordinators, and investigators
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program
- Previous phlebotomy experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
