We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist II – Float to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection across multiple patient service centers in the Plantation, FL area.Key Responsibilities:• Draw quality blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric• Prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures• Provide an atmosphere of trust while explaining procedures to patients• Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection• Verify patient demographics, signatures, and accurate tube labeling• Maintain required records and documentation• Support multiple locations as a floater, arriving on time and prepared• Promote a safe, clean, and professional environment• Demonstrate organizational commitment and positive communication with patients and staffRequirements:• Three years of phlebotomy experience REQUIRED (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections)• High school diploma or equivalent required• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required only in CA, NV, WA)• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred• Ability to provide accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime• Strong customer service and communication skills• Must follow all company policies, dress code, and safety requirements• Must have reliable transportation (bus/Uber/rideshare not acceptable)• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required• Travel required between multiple sites; mileage reimbursed• Ability to handle multiple priorities in high-volume settings• Must consistently arrive on time and complete the full shift• Training locations may vary based on trainer availabilityReliable transportation is a must. Floaters must be within a 20–25 minute commute of the site to ensure punctuality for coverage assignments.This is a contract position running 12/15/2025 – 4/30/2026, with potential for future opportunities based on performance.Interested?
