Role Description The Inside Sales Representative is a part-time, on-site role based in Haleyville, AL. This role is responsible for engaging prospective and existing customers, understanding their coverage needs, and recommending appropriate Alfa Insurance products. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound calls, following up on leads, preparing quotes, and supporting policy changes and renewals. The Inside Sales Representative will maintain accurate customer records, collaborate with the local agency team, and work toward individual and team sales goals. The role also involves ensuring a positive customer experience by providing timely information, resolving basic service issues, and upholding Alfa’s standards of professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Inside Sales experience and comfort working toward sales targets.
- Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction focus, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Ability to perform Lead Generation activities, including prospecting and qualifying potential customers.
- Experience with Account Management, including maintaining relationships and supporting renewals.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Basic proficiency with computers and CRM or sales software; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism in an on-site agency environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage time well, and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or related fields is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in business or related field is a plus.
- Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health Insurance License
