Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and control mainframe, midrange, and server computer systems, including all related printing equipment.
- Responsible for operating and maintaining computer equipment, loading peripheral equipment (printers) with selected materials (paper/special forms & electronic media), and reporting any problems that arise to the shift supervisor.
- Possess a working knowledge of systems that process on the shift, balancing of processed output, and distribution of printed reports.
- Monitor mainframe and midrange systems and servers via remote terminal(s).
- Attain a working understanding of console commands, operating system(s), 3rd party software, and Microsoft Office Products.
- High school diploma required.
- One year of experience within the same or similar environment.
- Working knowledge of computer equipment and peripherals.
- Reliable, dependable, and have a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds.
