Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the company's long-term global power and energy strategy.
• Build and manage a multi-gigawatt power capacity roadmap supporting AI infrastructure expansion.
• Evaluate new markets based on power availability, infrastructure readiness, and economics.
• Establish and maintain relationships with utilities, transmission operators, ISOs, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead grid access, interconnection, and power delivery strategies.
• Negotiate utility agreements and capacity solutions.
• Support powered land acquisition, site selection, and campus activation activities.
• Assess infrastructure constraints, transmission availability, and power timelines.
• Partner with development and real estate teams to optimize location decisions.
• Lead energy procurement and generation partnership strategies.
• Evaluate PPAs, behind-the-meter generation, microgrids, energy storage, and alternative power solutions.
• Develop resilient and scalable energy solutions for high-density AI compute environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, legal, real estate, and development teams.
• Support investment decisions, infrastructure economics, and project risk assessments.
• Represent the company externally with utilities, governments, regulators, investors, and strategic partners.
Requirements
• 15 years of experience in power, energy, or infrastructure strategy.
• Direct experience with data centers, hyperscale infrastructure, AI infrastructure, digital infrastructure, or large industrial power users.
• Demonstrated track record securing hundreds of MWs to multiple GWs of capacity.
• Deep understanding of grid access, interconnection, transmission, and power delivery pathways.
• Experience negotiating with utilities and managing strategic energy relationships.
• Strong knowledge of energy procurement, PPAs, and infrastructure economics.
• Experience supporting powered land development, site selection, and campus activation.
• Ability to operate across both strategy and execution.
• Strong executive presence with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
• Experience working with investors, governments, regulators, and strategic partners.
Preferred Experience
• Global or multi-regional experience, particularly across North America and Europe.
• Background with hyperscalers or leading digital infrastructure platforms.
