What are the responsibilities and job description for the EFDA Dental Assistant position at Alexis Klassen & Associates DDS?
We are looking for a competent expanded functions dental assistant who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist’s shoulders. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. We value high quality dental care and are looking for someone motivated to help us provide that level of treatment to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Expanded Function dental assistant will complete restorations, as well as assist with general dentistry to include crown and bridge, oral surgery, implant restoration.
- You will work with an assistant to provide a clean, dry field of work and the best possible direct restoration possible!
Skills
- Proven experience as an EFDA dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
