Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to air conditioning, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform appliance repairs, equipment repairs, and general maintenance tasks across various facility systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems effectively.
• Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during upgrades or installations while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure accurate documentation.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, air conditioning, refrigeration, and equipment repair.
• Mechanical knowledge related to construction, equipment installation, and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to diagnose issues efficiently and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Leadership skills to guide or assist team members during maintenance projects or emergency repairs.
• Strong communication skills to clearly document work performed and collaborate with team members.
• Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC/R, refrigeration, or appliance repair are highly desirable.

Pay: $23.07 - $27.79 per hour
