What are the responsibilities and job description for the eSports Head Coach position at Alexandria Technical and Community College?
ATCC is looking for skilled and motivated applicants for eSports Head Coach of the 26-27 school year. Candidates should have eSports gamer or coaching experience with an ability to work weekday evenings and a few Saturdays to help manage and recruit for the different games and teams – and to give mentorship to new and current Alex Tech esports student-athletes. Experience as Alex Tech’s new eSports Head Coach brings many opportunities for involvement in the professional gamer community.
Minimum Qualifications: professional or sanctioned collegiate eSports playing experience, knowledge of esports tournaments and player development, strategies for player motivation and understanding fundamental coaching techniques
Preferred Qualifications: professional or sanctioned collegiate sSports coaching experience, experience with national or international tournaments, degree in coaching or student/player athlete development.
eSports Head Coach will be compensated at the rate of $1,600 per semester credit.

Pay: $4,650.00 - $9,900.00 per year
