Community Education Flex Staff

Alexandria Public Schools Community Education offers a wide variety of youth and adult programs throughout the year. Community Education is looking for creative, energetic, and personable people who have a passion for families and have outstanding customer service skills to join our dynamic team.

Compass is Alexandria Community Education’s school-age care program, providing before and after school, non-school day and summer care for students PreK-5th Grade. This position will also work within Community Education's recreation programs and within Shenanigans Indoor Playground.

37 hours /week Compass, Recreation & Shenanigans
Up to $3.50/hour bonus pay in addition to hourly rate of pay during Compass student contact time.
9 Month employee w/ additional opportunity for summer hours.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have previous experience working with PreK-5th Grade students.

Be a self starter and perform a job with little supervision.

Must be in good physical condition.

Compensation: $17.86
