Homebound Instructor
EMPLOYMENT DATES: Immediately-Duration Based on Need
HOURS: 3:15-4:15 p.m., Monday–Friday
RATE OF PAY: $30 Per Hour
JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide one-on-one instructional support for a student receiving homebound services by assisting with the completion of assigned schoolwork. Instruction will occur at an approved public location in Alexandria.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Indiana teaching license required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet individually with the student to support completion of class work.
- Plan and prepare for instructional sessions.
- Communicate regularly with family regarding student progress.
- Provide progress updates to the Director of Exceptional Learners.
- Follow the student’s IEP.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and confidentiality.
