Position Title: Manager, E-Commerce
Reporting to Title: Director, E-Commerce Operations
Summary: The Manager, E-Commerce will support the growth and optimization of alexanderwang.com and select marketplace channels. Reporting to the Director, E-Commerce Operations, this role will oversee daily site operations, drive traffic and conversion, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance the online customer experience and maximize business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations for the brand’s e-commerce site and select marketplaces, with a focus on traffic generation, conversion optimization, and customer retention.
- Oversee merchandising, product uploads, promotions, site configurations, quality assurance, and general website maintenance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to execute digital initiatives, including personalization and A/B testing, with a focus on CRO and ROI.
- Optimize site merchandising to align with business goals, sales targets, and margin objectives.
- Define and maintain the merchandising calendar in coordination with the brand marketing calendar.
- Manage marketplace product catalogs, sample coordination, and photo shoot production to meet go-live deadlines.
- Analyze site performance data on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis; provide actionable insights to improve KPIs.
- Collaborate with Merchandising to align on seasonal OTBs and sell-through targets.
- Work with brand marketing and digital marketing teams on customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Benchmark and enhance the user experience in collaboration with the omnichannel technology team.
- Contribute to the digital roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on projected ROI and strategic value.
- Lead and support ad hoc projects and business development initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 4 years of experience in e-commerce; luxury fashion or premium brand experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS a plus.
- Experience writing technical specifications and functional requirements.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify or similar commerce/CMS platforms; experience with BI tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and customer-centric technologies.
- Hands-on experience with third-party platforms such as agencies, SaaS vendors, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, affiliate networks, and email service providers.

In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the potential salary for this position is from $75,000 to $85,000, which represents a range commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills required.
