Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer/Lawn Specialist to join our outdoor maintenance team for the 2026 season. This role involves performing a variety of landscaping, lawn care, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure the aesthetic appeal and health of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical knowledge, and be eager to contribute to high-quality landscape projects.
Duties
- Mowing lawns and trimming grass using power tools and hand tools
- Performing landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, and mulching
- Conducting tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal
- Assisting with gardening tasks such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment such as sharpening blades and oil changes
- Supporting construction projects related to landscaping or site development
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed during all operations to prevent accidents
Requirements
- Prior experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating power tools and landscaping equipment
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery
- Knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, tree care, and snow plowing is a plus
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for equipment operation or transportation needs
