Our Biddeford, ME client is seeking an independent, self-motivated IT Technician to support and maintain the company’s desktop and workstation environment within a manufacturing setting. This a fully on-site position.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and support desktops, workstations, and thin clients
- Image and deploy Windows-based workstations
- Maintain and track workstation inventory and asset records
- Provide end-user support for production and office employees across multiple campus buildings
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Support Microsoft Office applications and other internal business systems
- Utilize tools such as Active Directory, Windows Deployment Services (WDS), VMware, and related technologies
- Maintain and update IT tickets, documentation, and project tasks
- Perform ongoing maintenance and upgrades within the desktop environment
- Coordinate with vendors to support software updates and system improvements
- Collaborate with the IT team on incidents, service requests, and project initiatives
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1–5 years of experience in an IT support or desktop support environment
- Experience installing and supporting desktop operating systems and applications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Basic understanding of IT security best practices
- Fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving and customer support skills in a fast-paced environment
