IT Technician

Our Biddeford, ME client is seeking an independent, self-motivated IT Technician to support and maintain the company’s desktop and workstation environment within a manufacturing setting. This a fully on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and support desktops, workstations, and thin clients
• Image and deploy Windows-based workstations
• Maintain and track workstation inventory and asset records
• Provide end-user support for production and office employees across multiple campus buildings
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Support Microsoft Office applications and other internal business systems
• Utilize tools such as Active Directory, Windows Deployment Services (WDS), VMware, and related technologies
• Maintain and update IT tickets, documentation, and project tasks
• Perform ongoing maintenance and upgrades within the desktop environment
• Coordinate with vendors to support software updates and system improvements
• Collaborate with the IT team on incidents, service requests, and project initiatives
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1–5 years of experience in an IT support or desktop support environment
• Experience installing and supporting desktop operating systems and applications
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Basic understanding of IT security best practices
• Fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving and customer support skills in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Pay range for the role is $20-$35/hr.

No third party candidates will be considered.

Candidates must be local in ME, NH, or MA. No relocations will be considered.
