Alexander Technology Group is looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a small, multidisciplinary automation engineering team. This is a true working-manager role, split between technical design work and leading people, schedules, and engineering standards.. This is an onsite position in Keene, NH and is not eligible for remote work. No 3rd party c2c applicants will be considered. Target salary range for the role is 140-150k.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop mechanical, electrical/controls, and CAD professionals
- Contribute directly to the design and review of custom machinery, production lines, and robotic systems
- Manage project workloads, priorities, and engineering schedules
- Lead compliance engineering and risk assessments
- Review designs for accuracy, manufacturability, and customer requirements
- Support quoting, estimating, installation, startup, and commissioning
- Improve engineering processes, standards, documentation, and machine reliability
- 7 years of experience in industrial automation, custom machinery, or automated manufacturing
- 2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience
- A hands-on technical background spanning mechanical design and control systems
- Experience with compliance engineering and risk assessment
- Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods
- Experience delivering automation projects from concept through customer acceptance
- Familiarity with 3D CAD, robotics, material handling, and/or machine vision
