Senior Data Engineer

Contract- 6-12 months

Remote- Must be located in the US

No 3rd party or C2C candidates.

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help design and build a modern, cloud-based data platform that powers business intelligence, analytics, and AI initiatives. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys architecting scalable data solutions, optimizing data pipelines, and collaborating with global engineering teams to drive best practices.

You'll play a key role in shaping the company's next-generation data platform across AWS, Azure, Snowflake, and dbt, while helping modernize data workflows through automation and AI.

What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions across AWS and Azure.
• Develop and optimize ELT pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, Apache Airflow, and Python.
• Design and maintain data models, schemas, and cloud-based data warehouse architecture.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Manage schema evolution and data integration from source systems into Snowflake.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 4 years of experience in Data Engineering. Experience in Healthcare or SaaS highly preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Snowflake, dbt, Python, and SQL.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise data warehouses and cloud-native data platforms.
• Expertise in data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Apache Airflow and modern ELT architectures.
• Multi-cloud architecture (AWS & Azure)
• AI-powered automation or modern data platform initiatives
