Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Office Nurse to join our Primary Care Team. We have been providing Primary Care in Southern Illinois for over 30 years! The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care by rooming patients, refilling medications, documenting accurately in patient records, assisting with office procedures and being a dedicated part of our team. The Office Nurse will play a vital role in maintaining a smooth workflow within the office, assisting patients with their medical needs, and supporting the healthcare providers in delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments and vital sign monitoring, refilling prescriptions, IM injections, phlebotomy, assisting with office procedures and minor surgeries, prior authorizations, allergy injections and assisting coworkers and providers as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of processes.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the office environment, including medical equipment and supplies.
• Address patient inquiries regarding their health concerns or treatment plans, providing appropriate guidance.
• Previous experience in nursing or a related healthcare field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and HIPAA regulations is essential.
• Proven ability to manage medical documentation accurately while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing compassionate patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
