A lower middle-market private equity firm is seeking a Vice President of Investments to join its growing team focused exclusively on the Education and Wellness sectors.
The firm partners with founder-led and entrepreneurial businesses across fitness, nutrition, pet health, education services, and education technology. Its approach is highly hands-on and operator-driven, working closely with management teams and industry executives to drive meaningful growth and long-term value creation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead financial modeling, valuation, and investment committee materials
- Evaluate and execute equity, structured equity, and growth capital investments
- Drive due diligence across financial, commercial, and operational areas
- Support sourcing efforts and build relationships across the ecosystem
- Work directly with founders, CEOs, and operating partners
- Partner with portfolio companies on growth strategy and execution initiatives
- Monitor portfolio performance and support exit planning
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in private equity, growth equity, investment banking, or related investing roles
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset
- Experience with lower middle-market or founder-led businesses preferred
- Comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders
- Interest in Education and/or Wellness sectors strongly preferred
