Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of a construction site,
ensuring project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols are met by overseeing
subcontractors, coordinating materials, and resolving on-site issues, while reporting directly to the Project Manager. The Field Superintendent plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of
our projects, maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
Site Management
- Oversee all daily construction activities on the project site.
- Ensure adherence to project schedule and deadlines.
- Coordinate the activities of subcontractors and ensure they meet project specifications.
- Monitor and address potential delays or issues on the site.
- Resolve disputes and conflicts with subcontractors.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure work meets project standards.
- Identify and address quality issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed documentation of quality control procedures.
- Enforce all safety regulations and procedures on the job site.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks with crew members.
- Investigate and report any safety concerns or incidents.
- Coordinate the delivery and placement of materials on site.
- Monitor material inventory and ensure timely usage.
- Manage material storage and handling to prevent damage.
- Conduct daily and weekly progress meetings with subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress against the schedule and identify potential issues.
- Schedule all subcontractors in accordance with the project schedule.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including site logs, safety sheets, photographs, weekly tool inventory reports, equipment hours reports, and as-built drawings.
- Communicate project status updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
- Proven experience in construction field supervision.
- Willing and eager to work in a fast-paced environment, as needed, to meet customer deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, materials, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- OSHA certification and familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
- Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Proficiency in project management software (ACC Build) and Microsoft Office Suite.
