What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Clinician position at Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association?
Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, human services or other related field preferred, plus at least one year of experience in substance treatment. Professional licensure required or must be eligible to obtained within 2 years of hire. Must be eligible to be certified as a chemical dependency counselor (CDCI). Knowledge of federal confidentiality regulations and requirements. Willingness and means to travel. Good working knowledge of basic English grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation. Interest, knowledge and sensitivity to the Native lifestyle and culture. Willing to take training and attend workshops and meetings periodically to enhance job performance and knowledge.
