Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Niagara Falls, NY. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Performs various electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks supporting specific production units, developmental or prototype requirements in product development, manufacturing engineering, or preproduction operations where documentation and guidance may be limited.
- Works from schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components.
- Uses standard electronic assembly tools and materials.
- May perform modifications, rework, and quality testing.
- Work typically includes interaction with development or manufacturing engineering personnel.
- This position uses the microscope to assemble micro parts, not assembling/soldering circuit boards.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $24.00/hr.
Hours: 4/10-1st Shift.
Length: Temp (12 Months).

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using a microscope to assemble components.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with visual acuity in working with microscopes.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with miniature precision devices and components.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with SMT (Surface Mount Technology), rework, repair, assembly, PCB Rework, assembly, Medical Device Assembly, Jewelry Making, and Watch Repair.
- IPC J-STD-001 solder certification.
- Experience working in an ISO/clean room environment.
- Experience using a Microscope to assemble miniature parts into assemblies.
- Precise hand / eye coordination.
- Technical and detailed by nature.
- Able to adapt to changing part conditions.
- Able to adapt to various detailed part inconsistencies.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
