Acara Solutions is seeking a Furnace Engineer for our client in Hopewell Junction, NY.
- Salary: $114,000 - $193,700 bonus
- Type: Direct Hire
- Location: Fully onsite

Key Responsibilities
- Own furnace processes and support ASM, TEL, and Bruce equipment performance
- Drive process and equipment improvements to increase yield, throughput, and cost efficiency
- Design, execute, and document experiments using sound engineering methods
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex, time-sensitive production issues
- Utilize data analysis and SPC techniques to guide decisions
- Support daily lot disposition and process control in furnace operations
- Identify and resolve tool performance shifts
- Contribute to sustaining efforts, yield improvement, and cost reduction initiatives

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 7 years of semiconductor processing experience or similar
- Experience with furnace processes (ASM, TEL, and/or Bruce equipment)
- Strong data analysis skills (Excel or JMP; pivots, formulas, charts)
- Experience working cross-functionally to meet production goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills with ability to present technical information
- Self-driven with a results-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience with FMEA or risk analysis methodologies
