What You'll Do:
- Set up, calibrate, and repair high-volume filling and packaging machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues impacting daily production.
- Record maintenance activities and completed work in the computerized maintenance management system.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improved reliability.
- Communicate production line performance and maintenance updates during daily team huddles.
- Support production teams by responding promptly to equipment needs.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience with setting up, maintaining, or repairing manufacturing or packaging equipment.
What Sets You Apart:
- Basic knowledge of machine shop equipment
- Experience with computers, including office applications
- 1 years' experience setting up, maintaining and repairing high volume filling and packaging machinery.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, fluidic, and basic electronic control systems
- Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities
- Ability to follow and adhere to written work instructions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Be comfortable working autonomously or in small groups.
