Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Walpole, MA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Provide daily on-site IT (Information Technology) support.
  • Responsible for daily IT (Information Technology) support of PCs (Personal Computers) (Laptop and Desktop), Networking & Servers - physical topology, cabling, and troubleshooting, and specific manufacturing facility IT (Information Technology) device support, such as printers, handheld scanners, etc.
  • Intake and resolution of Level 1/2 IT (Information Technology) issues through a shared and remote support follow-the-sun model.
  • Complex IT (Information Technology) problem-solving and investigation of recurring IT (Information Technology) issues.
  • Resolving on-premises IT (Information Technology) issues that may arise or be dispatched to your local location.
  • Staying up to date on the latest IT (Information Technology) service offerings, ITSM (Information Technology Service Management) portals, active migration projects, and technical resolutions affecting our user base.
  • Escalating any unresolved issues or Major Incidents to the Site Management Infrastructure (SMI) team.
  • You work effectively in global, multi-cultural teams.
  • Server configuration, iLO setup, vulnerability remediation.
  • Mobile Device troubleshooting and configuration (Android and IOS).
  • Manufacturing facility devices (label printer, handheld WIFI (Wireless Fidelity) devices, and instruments).
  • Identity management, including the setup of multifactor authentication.
  • PC (Personal Computer) migration, application installation, and data copy.
  • Service NOW incident and request management.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $55.66/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week - 1st shift.

Length: Temp (12 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with IT (Information Technology) Deskside Support or IT (Information Technology) Systems Analyst role(s).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with End User Computing, Datacenter Technologies, and Networking.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Intune/Azure AD.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • The candidate will need superior customer service skills and be able to interact with a wide range of users with varying IT (Information Technology) skill levels.
  • You have excellent communication skills (written, verbal), focused on the translation of IT (Information Technology) technical resolutions to end-user business language.
  • L1/L2 deep technical problem-solving capability in many facets of Information Technology.
  • Solid professional judgment and ability to escalate unresolved issues to appropriate management in a timely fashion.
  • Win10 / Win11 Client expertise with Office 365 in an Enterprise environment.
  • Network diagnostics, TCP (Transmission Control Protocol)/IP (Internet Protocol), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) reservations, console access, and troubleshooting capability, including VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) knowledge.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be needed to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Candidate will need to be physically able to walk around the large facility daily for spot checks/rounds and device troubleshooting, and also be able to lift 50lbs with respect to Datacenter servers and switch infrastructure installation and decommission.
