What You'll Do:
- Interpret lot travelers, operational instructions, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, sample assemblies, and verbal guidance to determine assembly requirements.
- Assemble chassis, racks, and final assembly hardware; install completed assemblies and subassemblies.
- Operate tools and equipment used for assembly, stuffing, and preparation of prefabricated electronic and electro-mechanical components.
- Adjust or trim materials and hardware to meet required dimensional and electrical specifications.
- Conduct online go/no-go fit testing to verify that parts and assemblies meet defined standards.
- Set up and perform operational testing of finished products using high-precision hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment.
- Execute a wide variety of assembly tasks including soldering, potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, labeling, taping, marking, painting, crimping, riveting, pressing, and fastening hardware.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Here's what requirements you'll need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of Mechanical Assembly experience
- Minimum 1 year of soldering experience
Here's what sets you apart from other candidates that our clients prefer:
- IPC-A-620 certification
- Willingness to work overtime to support business needs required
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs and able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
