What You'll Do:
- Perform engineering analyses, studies, evaluations, investigations, and technical reviews supporting transmission operations and system planning.
- Conduct, analyze, and interpret power flow studies to inform operational and planning decisions.
- Develop engineering solutions to complex technical issues affecting transmission system reliability.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align project objectives, schedules, and technical requirements.
- Prepare engineering reports, recommendations, cost estimates, and technical documentation while providing guidance to less-experienced engineers
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of experience in transmission engineering, power systems engineering, or a related electrical engineering field.
What Sets You Apart:
- Experience conducting power flow studies.
- Experience in the utility industry.
- Knowledge of engineering codes, standards, practices, methods, and safety requirements.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and intermediate Copilot skills.
